Delco Cancels Voting Machine Demonstrations

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — In an ongoing effort to protect residents from the new coronavirus, known as COVID-19, Delaware County has canceled all voting machine demonstrations.

While in person demonstrations will not be available, residents can go online here to see how the new machines work.

"As we move towards social distancing and announce cancellations and possible closures,
Delaware County will be working to offer services and communications to residents by phone and online," the county said.

There is one case of the coronavirus in Delaware County as of Friday morning.

Below are the demonstrations that have been canceled.

• March 13 at Sharon Hill Public Library (250 Sharon Ave., Sharon Hill)
• March 16 at Lansdowne Public Library (55 S Lansdowne Ave., Lansdowne)
• March 16 at the Government Center (201 W. Front St., Media)
• March 17 at Springfield Township Library (70 Powell Rd., Springfield)
• March 18 at Darby Free Library (1001 Main St., Darby)
• March 19 at Ridley Park Public Library (107 W Ward St., Ridley Park.)
• March 20 at Haverford Township Free Library (1601 Darby Rd., Havertown)
• March 23 at Marcus Hook Borough Library (1015 Green St., Marcus Hook)
• March 23 at the Government Center (201 W. Front Street, Media)
• March 24 at Folcroft Public Library (1725 Delmar Dr., Folcroft)
• March 25 at Glenolden Library (211 S Llanwellyn Ave., Glenolden)
• March 26 at Aston Public Library (3270 Concord Rd, Aston)
