• 1 Dead, Multiple People Hurt After Pickup Driver In Medical Emergency Sideswipes 7 Vehicles In PA: Report (patch.com) — Residents in Haverford Township are dealing with a serious crash on West Chester Pike after a pickup driver, believed to have suffered a medical emergency, sideswiped about seven vehicles before hitting a U-Haul near Eagle Road. One person was killed and several others were injured, and Route 3 remains shut down as police investigate and gather more details.

• Haverford nursery school reopens after being closed by the state (delcotimes.com) — Families in Haverford and Havertown can once again enroll children at Manoa Nursery School, which has reopened after resolving state licensing paperwork issues. Following a compliance review and final walkthrough by the Department of Human Services, the long-running church-based nursery resumed welcoming young learners on September 25 with full authorization.
