Domestic Abuse Project Receives Aid from County Council
The Domestic Abuse Project received $25,000 from Delaware County Council recently.

Councilwoman Colleen P. Morrone presented an allocation of $25,000 from to the Domestic Abuse Project to help the organization continue its services and support for victims of domestic violence and their children, which was accepted by President Mary V.Z. Wachterhauser and Executive Director Rita Buckley Connelly as well as Vice President Stephen H. Palmer, according to a press release by the Delaware County Public Relations Office.
The Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County was founded by volunteers in 1976 to respond directly to requests from victims of domestic violence for emergency assistance, protection and emotional support.
