Elementary Students Donating To Manoa Fire Co. In Honor Of The Late Weston Keeton
Weston's parents want to spread the help and compassion they received in their trying time.

Students from Manoa Elementary School will pay a visit to the Manoa Fire Company and donate collected goodies to the fire crews in honor of the three-year passing of 7-year-old Weston Keeton.
The students are participating in the 3rd Annual Feed The Fire Day of Service commemorating the 3-year passing of Weston, who tragically died at 7 years old due to complications of a heart and lung transplant at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Two of the Keeton's close friends, Patrice Bendig and Jen Terruso, have organized items to be collected by families of Manoa Elementary students to the firefighters at Manoa Fire Company.

Community members are invited to stop by Manoa Fire Company - Station 56, 115 S. Eagle Road, Havertown, on Thursday, March 23 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. to donate water, snacks, a meal, thank you cards or just themselves saying thanks.
"Weston adored firefighters, and so many firefighters took time to brighten up Weston's day while he was ill," his mother Julie Keeton said in a statement. "By helping the heroes Weston loved so much it helps us continue to let his life touch others. Deliver Gatorade, water, snacks. Plan a potluck or dinner for them. Make thank you cards with the kids to show your love! Get creative and have fun. That's what Weston would have wanted us to do."

Julie and Weston's dad, Adam Keeton, organized the annual event to pay forward the kindness that Weston and their entire family had received during Weston's health struggles throughout his life. Julie and Adam are urging the public to honor their local firehouses on March 23.
By sending out a call to action through large social media presence the family built over years of documenting Weston's life, over 200 fire stations nationwide will be recipients of acts of kindness which included baked goods, meals, sports drinks, bottled water and other tokens of appreciation donated.
Visit the event's Facebook page to learn more about it, or visit WestonsWarriors.com.
Food donations to be distributed to firefighters are also appreciated, and can be arranged by contacting Julie Keeton at julie.keeton@gmail.com.
