Former Delco Man Sentenced For Hiding Cameras In Fitting Rooms: Report
Joseph Stevenson, formerly of Delaware County, hid "pen cameras" in Hollister and Urban Outfitters stores at the King of Prussia Mall.
UPPER DARBY, PA — A man who previously resided in Delaware County was sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty to charges related to secretly recording people in stores at the King of Prussia Mall.
Joseph Stevenson, of Smyrna, Delaware and formerly of Upper Darby, was sentenced to four years of probation Tuesday, Main Line Media News reports. The outlet also reports he will a registered sex offender for 15-years, is banned from the mall, and not permitted to contact the victims.
Stevenson pleaded guilty to nine counts of invasion of privacy in October 2023, court records show.

Upper Merion Police in July 2021 said Stevenson placed the pens in both Hollister and Urban Outfitters stores at the King of Prussia Mall.
The pen was found back in Hollister's changing room back on July 3 by a customer who noted that it contained a camera, police said. An employee at Urban Outfitters found an identical pen.

The small black pens, which were positioned to capture an image of the entire fitting room, contained a small lens near the top.
All told, the camera in Hollister captured video of six women and one man in various stages of undress, according to authorities.
Two more women were caught on camera in the Urban Outfitters changing room.
