HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued their latest crime blotter.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between March 21 and March 26.

The blotter also features arrests made and citations issued.

  • Fraud at the 400 block of College Avenue on March 21 at 5:08 p.m. – Victim received a call from a person claiming to be from the Sheriff’s Office. They stated that he had a warrant out for his arrest and advised him to go to the bank and withdraw $5,000 and then call back for further details. The victim recognized the scam, so he did not provide the caller with information.
  • Fraud at the 600 block of Lawson Avenue on March 21 at 4:29 p.m. – The victim received an email from a person claiming to be one of his employees. He requested his paycheck be sent to a new bank account. The information was changed before he realized the scam.
  • Fraud at Giant, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on March 21 at 11:59 a.m. – Victim reported unauthorized purchases were made with her debit card.
  • Theft at Wyndmoor Apartment, 100 block of South Eagle Road, on March 21 at 4:02 p.m. – Victim reported that a package was stolen after it was delivered.
  • Theft at the 700 block of Ardmore Avenue on March 22 at 11:33 a.m. – Victim reported that he paid a roofing company an $850 deposit to fix his roof and the service was never provided.
  • Criminal Mischief at the 300 block of Kenmore Road on March 24 at 2:34 p.m. – Victim reported her gas cap was tampered with.
  • Theft at the 100 block of Treaty Road on March 26 at 11:58 a.m. – Victim reported three unauthorized charges on her credit card.
  • Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on March 26 at 6:39 p.m. – An unknown female stole approximately $300 worth of groceries.

  • 33-year-old male, 200 block of Court Avenue, Upper Darby. Charges: DUI, driving without a license and careless driving. Location: West Chester Pike and Lawrence Road. Date: March 23 at 1:25 p.m.
  • 28-year-old male, 2400 block of Pilling Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft, receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: March 23 at 11:30 p.m.
