Haverford Commissioner Steve D’Emilio Resigning, Replacement Sought
D'Emilio's seat as 1st Ward Commissioner must be filled within 30 days of the seat being vacant, according to the township's home charter.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Haverford Township 1st Ward Commissioner Steve D'Emilio is resigning from the township's main governing body, and a replacement is being sought.
D'Emilio, who is on his fifth term as commissioner according to the township website, will leave the board effective Monday, April 11.
D'Emilio will be recognized for his service to the township at the commissioners meeting on April 11.

The vacant seat must be filled within 30 days of it being open, according to the township's Home Rule Charter.
Appointees will serve until the first regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners following the November election, at which an individual will be elected to complete D'Emilio's unexpired term.
