To earn the No Place for Hate designation, each school planned and executed at least three anti-bias or anti-bullying projects during the school year.
Every project was required to have a demonstrable impact on the entire school community, and to address at least one No Place for Hate theme:
- celebrating diversity
- promoting respect for differences, or
- challenging bias or bullying
The No Place for Hate designations are part of ADL's national program, which has grown to include more than 1,600 schools across the United States. Regional Schools have pointed to the impact of the program on school climate.
Editor's note: a previous version of this story incorrectly listed Haverford High School as the designated school, not Haverford Middle School. Patch regrets the error.
