Haverford Township Day 2023: What You Need To Know

The 28th annual Haverford Township Day will feature a parade, live music and entertainment, food, a flea market, and a craft fair.

HAVERFORD, PA — Haverford Township Day is nearly here and this year's iteration of the community party promises plenty of family friendly fun.

The day begins at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7 with a 5K race at the Haverford Middle School.

Then at 9 a.m., Beatles tribute band Newspaper Taxis will kick off the day with a set at the Skatium Stage.

The flea market and craft fair will begin at 10 a.m. and last through 3 p.m.

Parade marchers will step off at 10:30 a.m. from the Manoa Shopping Center.

Below is the day's schedule of events:

  • 8:30 a.m. — 5K Race at the Middle School
  • 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. — Newspaper Taxis at the Skatium Stage
  • 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Flea Market and Craft Fair
  • 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. — Bill Whitney at the Brookline Stage
  • 10:30 a.m. — Parade, starts at Manoa Shopping Center
  • 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Stilt Walker (Dick Rainer), Juggler (Jonathan Perry), Caricature Artist at the Skatium area
  • Noon to 12:45 p.m. — Haverford High School (Orchestra) at Brookline Fire House
  • Noon to 1 p.m. — Kids Entertainment (Janine Kelly) at the Brookline Stage
  • Noon to 3 p.m. — Balloon Sculptures (Silly Reba), Face Painting (Nancy the Clown) at the Skatium area
  • Noon to 3:30 p.m. — Children's Rides (Train, Moon Bounce, etc.) on Brookline Boulevard
  • Noon to 4 p.m. — The De La Salle Orchestra (Big Band Music) at the Yale Road Stage
  • 1 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. — Philadelphia Heart and Soul at the Skatium Stage
  • 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. — Thrill Ryde at the Brookline Stage
  • 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. — Free Skating at the Skatium
