Hundreds In Items Stolen From Havertown Department Store: Police

Major retail chains in Haverford Township continue to be the target of thieves, as Haverford Police reported another theft from Kohl's.

HAVERTOWN, PA — Thieves are still targeting major retailers in Havertown, with Haverford Township Police issuing a new alert regarding the theft of hundreds of dollars of merchandise from a department store.

According to police, the woman above stole from the Kohl's department store, 250 West Chester Pike, on Feb. 15.

Police said the woman seen above came into the store and picked up paper bags from behind a cash register.

She then went and put $386.20 of merchandise in the bags, police said.

Then she left the store without paying for the items, according to police.

She got into the passenger's side of a maroon 2016 Nissan Maxima with an unknown Pennsylvania license plate.

Police said the vehicle was driven by a black man and left the area on Township Line Road.

Kohl's has been the target of thieves over the past few months.

Police recently said two men stole nearly $2,500 worth of KitchedAid Mixers and Shark Cordless Vacuums from the store.

Other recent thefts included a man taking a parka, another man taking sneakers and a backpack, and two people taking more than $4,200 worth of items.
