Man Accused Of Repeatedly Stalking Woman In Delaware County
An Allentown man is accused of stalking a Darby woman, then contacting her again from jail after being charged with stalking initially.

DARBY BOROUGH, PA — Authorities in Delaware County have charged an Allentown man with stalking, and then charged him again with stalking after he reportedly contacted his alleged victim from jail.
Darby Borough Police said they arrested Matthew Kwatyra, 30, of Allentown, on June 6.
Court documents show he was charged with stalking and harassment.

That day, they were called to a home for a report of a stalking incident and with the help of East Lasdowne Police took Kwatyra into custody.
Police warned residents of people using tracking devices such as Apple AirTags to follow their movements.

According to Action News, Kwatyra used an AirTag in an effort to follow the victim.
Police said these types of tracking devices, if a certain brand, will send cell phone notifications of the device, asking to transmit the location.
Court records show Kwatyra was charged with stalking again on June 7 after he was taken into custody on June 6.
Action News reports he called the victim from the jail, but the victim hung up as soon as they heard Kwatyra's name from the operator.
According to court documents, Kwatyra's bail, which was set at 10 percent of $10,000, was revoked after the new stalking charge was filed for bail condition violations.
Authorities say other potential victims may be out there and anyone who suspects they have been a victim of a stalking incident involving Kwatyra to contact Darby Borough Police Det. Salvatore at 610-586-1100.
