Robbery, Assault, Identity Theft, More: Haverford Crime Blotter

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued two weeks worth of crime blotter incidents recently.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between Oct. 18 and Oct. 31.

The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

INCIDENTS

• Theft at the 2500 block of County Line Road on Oct. 18 at 3:05 a.m. – Victim reported that three packages were stolen from his porch after they were delivered.
• Theft at the 100 block of Hillcrest Avenue on Oct. 18 at 7:48 a.m.– Catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle.
• Theft at the unit block of Hillcrest Avenue on Oct. 18 at 3:35 p.m. – Catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle.
• Criminal Mischief at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Oct. 18 at 9:44 p.m. – A security guard reported that approximately five to six males were observed taking pumpkins off the display and smashing them on the ground.
• Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on Oct. 19 at 9:37 a.m. – An unknown male and female stole a coat and Sephora products.
• Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Oct. 19 at 10:24 a.m. – Two males and one female stole various items and fled the store.
• Theft at the 1700 block of Tyson Road on Oct. 20 at 12:08 p.m. – Catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle.
• Criminal Mischief at the 1600 block of Lawrence Road on Oct. 20 at 1:42 p.m. – An unknown actor cut down four small plants in her garden and placed dog feces on the rear patio.
• Theft at the 200 block of Brentwood Road on Oct. 21 at 11 a.m. – Victim reported that his vehicle tag was switched out for another tag.
• Identity Theft at the 1000 block of Weller Avenue on Oct. 21 at 3:43 p.m. – The victim reported that someone used her identity to open an AT&T account and purchase an iPhone.
• Theft at the 800 block of Grove Place on Oct. 21 at 1:51 p.m. – Vehicle was entered – nothing was reported missing.
• Retail Theft at Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on Oct. 22 at 7:25 p.m. – 21-year-old female, 1900 block of Castor Street, Philadelphia was cited for the retail theft of $139.99 worth of groceries.
• Burglary at Roulston Landscaping and Tree Care, 400 block of Mill Road, on Oct. 23 at 6:51 p.m. – Garage door was pried open and 14 chainsaws and 2 backpack blowers were stolen.
• Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Oct. 23 at 9:26 a.m. – An unknown male stole $139.33 worth of groceries.
• Retail Theft at Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on Oct. 24 at 6:04 p.m. – An unknown male stole $396.70 and fled the store.
• Bicycle Theft at Haverford College, 300 block of W. Lancaster Avenue, on Oct. 26 at 11:14 a.m.
• Theft at the 1700 block of Lawrence Road on Oct. 26 at 9:20 p.m. – Victim reported that $15,000 was taken from her checking account after a scam call.
• Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Oct. 26 at 5:14 p.m. – Victim reported that her wallet was stolen from her cart while she left it unattended. The wallet was located at customer service but $900 was missing from the wallet.
• Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Oct. 26 at 12:28 p.m. – An unknown male and female stole $138.31.
• Criminal Mischief at the 2800 block of Belmont Avenue on Oct. 27 at 8:03 p.m. – The cords on two outdoor blowup decorations were cut.
• Forgery at the 1500 block of Sunny Hill Lane on Oct. 27 at 4:10 p.m. – A check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
• Theft at the 200 block of Earlington Road on Oct. 27 at 6:03 p.m. – Victim reported that two boxes containing a set of golf clubs and golf equipment was stolen after it was delivered.
• Fraud at Haverford College, 300 block of W. Lancaster Avenue, on Oct. 27 at 7:48 p.m. – Victim reported that someone made two unauthorized purchases with his credit card.
• Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Oct. 27 at 2:57 p.m. – An unknown male stole $30 worth of grapes.
• Disorderly Conduct at The Yard Pub, 300 block of West Chester Pike, on Oct. 28 at 11:24 p.m. – 47-year-old male, 100 block of 5th Avenue Broomall, and 45-year-old male, 200 block of Glendale Road, were cited for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
• Identity Theft at the 100 block of Decatur Road on Oct. 28 at 9:32 a.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to open an AT&T account.
• Theft at the 1200 block of Allston Road on Oct. 30 at 6:48 p.m. – Victim reported that two of her inflatable Halloween decorations were removed from her lawn.
• Identity Theft at the unit block of Bennington Road on Oct. 31 at 12:27 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to open a new debit card and withdraw $10,000 from his bank account.
• Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on Oct. 31 at 8:02 p.m. – An unknown actor stole ten Sonicare toothbrushes valued at $999.90.

• 38-year-old male, 1100 block of Rockland Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: C & M, 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Oct. 20 at 1:42 p.m.
• 39-year-old male, 4200 block of 8th Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: 300 block of E. Township Line Road. Date: Oct. 20 at 5 p.m.
• 20-year-old female, 1300 block of 54th Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft, criminal conspiracy, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Oct. 21 at 4:50 p.m.
• 33-year-old male, 1600 block of Mentor Street, Philadelphia.Charges: Retail theft and criminal conspiracy. Location: Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Oct. 21 at 4:50 p.m.
