Boy Attacked By Group At Haverford School, 1 Teen Charged

One teen is reportedly in custody and charged with robbery and assault in connection with a Monday night attack at Chatham Park Elementary.

HAVERTOWN, PA — Haverford Township Police have taken one person into custody and are expected to take more people into custody after a teenager was attacked by a group of people.

The incident occurred at about 9:13 p.m. Monday at Chatham Park Elementary School in Havertown.

Police said a teenage boy was attacked by a group of teens.

One teen was arrested and charged with assault and robbery with the incident.

The boy taken into custody had the victim's $300 shoes.

All suspects are believed to be 14 to 17 years old and were captured attacking the victim on video.

Charges including simple assault and robbery will likely be filed against those other suspects.

Police said the victim did not require medical treatment after the incident.
