My GOP opponent, Justin Simmons, has voted to slash public school funding, lower the corporate tax while increasing personal and sales taxes, and to block a severance tax on extracted natural gas. You have my pledge to restore and protect the middle-class by ensuring quality public education and a fair tax structure, and by taxing frackers to boost revenue needed to restore our essential services.
