How will the funds be utilized?
Red Door uses inquiry-based learning within all areas of our curriculum. Our 15 teachers love to hear “why?”. The goals for the funds generated from this tournament are to:

1. Create a “smart classroom ” that would contain: A smart board, technology stations with educational programming, I-Pads with educational applications and wireless technology
2. Expand our science & Environmental Education Curriculum. Some improvements we would like to make in this area include:Adding a kid-sized mobile science lab, Creating an environmental education outdoor classroom including gardens and a weather station.

We need help from our community to make this a reality. These improvements will allow us to continue to give the youngest children of our region the solid foundation they need for future success. Additionally, we will continue to cultivate a sense of wonder that breeds discovery and a love of learning at an early age.
