Register for an Online Learning Session about Cyber Bullying

The has announced that the Center for Safe Schools will host a live online learning session for Pennsylvania parents, educators and youth-serving professionals on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012 from 3pm to 4pm. The session, "Cyber Bullying: What Parents and Educators Need to Know about Prevention and Response," will equip attendees in specific ways to prevent and respond to cyber bullying among youth. 

The online session is part of the Center for Safe Schools' Third Thursday professional development series. The Highmark Foundation has provided funding for the 2011-2012 Third Thursday series, which focuses on issues related to bullying. 

Dr. Sameer Hinduja of the Cyber Bullying Research Center will facilitate the session, which will identify:
