The Saucon Valley Conservancy will host a Barn Photo Workshop at the Heller Homestead on Saturday, June 9, 2012 from 9 am to 12 pm (rain or shine).

Take great photographs of barns, historical buildings, and other subjects using your digital SLR, point-and-shoot camera, or cell phone. Learn photo tips and techniques you can use on our 2012 Barn Tour of Saucon Valley Barns on September 15 by attending this practical workshop.

Frank T. Smith, an award-winning local photographer, will cover composition, lighting, and creative aspects of shooting barns. This illustrated workshop will include many tips and techniques to help you take better pictures every day.

Attend both the Barn Photo Workshop on June 9 and
the Saucon Valley Conservancy Barn Tour on September 15. You'll be eligible to enter your barn tour photos taken on September 15 in a contest. Winning entries will be featured at the Heller Homestead Art Gallery in a Barn Photo Exhibit held in September, 2013. This is your chance to showcase your best barn photos.
