Before I get started with the hours of chores I need to do before the kids get up, I will mention that my one of my Tea Party friends was a bit BANG out of order in saying that since I was raised on Welfare, that I would assume a more Liberal stance on issues, you are USED to and EXPECT the Government giving you hand outs.
I did the switch and bait, I just remarked, "Yes, I have always been curious about generational welfare and how that affects attitude and philosophy. I can tell you that at current my kids and I thrive with less struggle than my mother did with half the kids she had."
Currently, only Healthcare will be provided from our Government for my Family. I believe that choosing to raise my brood and educate them as a stay at home Mom was the best choice for our future. My kids are out of control full of talent, realism and smarts as a result of my intensive interest in their potentials. They each exhibit bounds of individual interests in making their mark on this world. In other words, they test remarkable well and pull their weight for Saucon!
This does not come from selfish parenting and judging the material worth of things vs. the one shot you get at raising a human heart.
My mother, put aside her own ambitions and was a welfare Mom, so she could be there to raise us. I hope she is proud that she taught me hard work, as when we got older she ran multiple newspaper routes with my help to offset our Welfare need, yes!!!

I don't want us to rely on handouts. I do want a fair playing ground starting with increasing the minimum wage.

I also know Public Healthcare and Education are worth a lot to keep America in the top tier as a First World country riddled with undereducated adults, who are now unemployable. It's damn shame we don't take similar stances like our European competitors.
