Man Says County Wrongfully Took Disabled Sister
Ron Shegda, of Hellertown, denies the abuse accusations against him and says he wants his sister home.

A Hellertown man accused of abusing his sister is fighting to get her back, despite county intervention to protect her, according to a WFMZ report.
In an interview with the local TV station, Ron Shegda disputed the claims of abuse and neglect by the Northampton County Office of Developmental Programs. Lorraine, 56, has Down syndrome.

Shegda denies the claims and says he does not know where the county placed his sister after she was taken under its care in February.
Friends have created a "Free Lady Jane" Facebook Page to promote Shegda's cause, and a yard sale was to have been held Saturday in Bethlehem to help with legal bills related to the case.
