Movies in the Park Schedule Announced

Four family-friendly films will be shown free of charge in Hellertown's Dimmick Park on Friday evenings in August.

Are you looking for something low-key to do on Friday evenings? Are you not sure you want to go "festing?" Are you trying to find an activity that's family-friendly and affordable? Then Hellertown's free Movies in the Park should be on your list of things to do in August!

The movies, which are once again being sponsored by the Saucon Valley Business and Friends Association, will be shown in Dimmick Park on four consecutive Friday evenings this month. Showings will begin shortly after dusk.

The schedule for Movies in the Park is as follows:

  • Friday, Aug. 5 - Shrek Forever After (2010)
  • Friday, Aug. 12 - Tangled (2010)
  • Friday, Aug. 19 - The Love Bug (1969)
  • Friday, Aug. 26 - Rango (2011)

Refreshments will be served, but guests should bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.
