• Lehigh Valley food safety report: Pork thawing on counter, gnats behind bar, 'black mold-like substances' (mcall.com) — Lehigh Valley's latest food safety report includes several Hellertown spots, from Frey's Better Foods and Mitzi Bakery to Starbucks on Main Street and Hellertown Crossroad Hotels, all recently inspected. Most local establishments passed with no violations, though Crossroad Hotels was cited for greasy floors, a faulty freezer door and supplies stored on the floor.
