Patch Visits an IronPigs Practice: Part 2

In the second of three installments, Tamara Kells interviews Lehigh Valley IronPigs pitchers Ryan Feierabend and Mike Zagurski.

In part two of our video series (click  to watch part one), humor columnist and sports fan Tamara Kells interviews Lehigh Valley IronPigs starting pitcher Ryan Feierabend, from the sidelines of Coca-Cola Park in Allentown.

Feierabend, 25, hails from Ohio, and was selected by the Seattle Mariners in the third round of the 2003 Major League Baseball Draft.

In Patch's interview with him, he offered advice to young baseball players on how to emulate the success of their favorite major and minor league role models.

"The biggest thing is just keep practicing," he said. "You have to keep practicing and practicing, and I know there's going to be times when you don't want to, but you just have to push through it."

Kells also interviews relief pitcher Mike Zagurski in this segment.

Nebraskan Zagurski, 28, made his major league debut with the Philadelphia Phillies in 2007, and said he credits his father with being one of the most influential people in the development of his baseball career.

"He was kind of the one who got me into it," he said, before adding that college coaches were also influential.
