Hellertown Dunkin' Donuts Reportedly to Open Tuesday

For Saucon Valley fans of the popular coffee-and-donut chain Dunkin' Donuts, a months-long wait that is apparently about to end.

On Sunday, reader Phyllis Coronado reported on Hellertown Patch's Facebook page that in a conversation she had with him over the weekend, an owner of the new franchise at 730 Main St., Hellertown, confirmed that it will open to the public on Tuesday, Jan. 10.

Coronado said she and her family were out for a walk Saturday when they bumped into the owner, who also gave them a tour inside the new restaurant, which is located in a former M&T bank branch opposite .

She revealed that the new Dunkin' Donuts will feature both table and booth seating, and said a reference to a free donut giveaway on Tuesday was made.
