Saucon Valley Prom-Goers Strut in 'Vintage Hollywood' Style
"Glitz and glam" best described Saucon Valley Prom Night 2011. The red carpet was rolled out for students at the Hotel Bethlehem May 6.
Friday, May 6 was a beautiful evening for a prom. and Saucon Valley High School students took full advantage of the gorgeous weather as they walked the red carpet outside the Hotel Bethlehem.
The historic downtown Bethlehem hotel hosted the 2011 Saucon Valley Prom and provided a stunning backdrop for a which was held outside the hotel's main entrance from 4:30 to 5:30pm.
On hand for the red carpet fundraiser were many camera-toting parents, friends and school employees, who seemed to have almost as much fun as the students they came out to support.

This year's Prom Night theme was "Vintage Hollywood," and the guests certainly did their part to represent the 1930s and 1940s. Top hats and canes were de rigueur for many of the guys, and many of the girls came dressed in long satin evening gowns reminiscent of the silver screen's Golden Age.
