Broadway legend will be interviewed on stage by the New York Times' Frank Rich.

Broadway fans, take note: Stephen Sondheim, who wrote the lyrics for West Side Story and composed Sweeney Todd, is coming to Lafayette College next month.

Sondheim will appear at the school's Colton Chapel on Tuesday, March 8, when he'll be interviewed by Frank Rich, the New York Times columnist and long-time theater critic for the paper. Sondheim's visit will be part of Lafayette's Jones Visiting Lecture series.

According to a news release from Lafayette, Rich and Sondheim will discuss Sondheim's collaborations with people such as Tim Burton and Leonard Bernstein, "the state of American theater, and the difference between theater and film."
