Traffic on Local Road to Be Disrupted by Gas Main Project

PennDOT announced Monday that the installation of a gas main along a section of Saucon Valley Road in Upper Saucon Township will result in lane restrictions through the end of January.

Local motorists who use Saucon Valley Road as a conduit to and from Route 378 should be aware that a gas main project will result in temporary lane restrictions through the end of January.

PennDOT announced Monday that the project, which involves installing a new gas main along a section of the two-lane road, will result in moving restrictions between the entrance to Saucon Valley Country Club and Old Bethlehem Pike in Upper Saucon Township, Lehigh County.

The work will be done by UGI between 7am and 5pm, PennDOT said.
