Yu Gi Oh?

Yu Gi Oh, an anime/cartoon import from Japan that resulted in a real life fascinating card game.
Although the Anime may lean more towards male characters, the Females are strong!
The card game that our entire family participates in has caused my 3 boys and 1st grade girl to learn quick to comprehend precisely their readings of the thousands of cards and do big time mathematical addition and subtraction on the fly, altho, we do have an assist via phone apps.
I am inspired and weary to share a possible film project I thought of and now will share my Facebook Status;
Inspiration. I'd like to shoot a documentary on my phone about Yu Gi Oh. We've been going to the Allentown tournaments nearly every Saturday for months and for years. We've made friends and aquaintances that are just really cool people. I think each have a good story to tell. All ages, ok Ian and I are probably the oldest in the Yu Gi Oh group, but they run Van Guard and Magic tournaments too, which are more varied in age.The thing I find very inspiring is that 90% of the Yu Gi Oh duelists are Black and/or Hispanic, living in Urban Allentown, attending failing public schools, and just so damn good at the game! The game is very complicated and some cards are just...huh? I have noticed, with the younger crowd, there is a common denomenator, a supportive parent or two. Funny, two weeks ago I was dueling a 10-11 year old boy possibly autistic, his mother asked him in Spanish what time he thought our duel would end. I answered her in English without thinking, as I know a bit of Spanish. Also, so much for your racial and urbanite stereotypes, they whoop our butts! Just thinking, maybe these Saturdays are too precious to film, but, I'll put the feelers out...what do you think?
