State police say his wound was self-inflicted and there’s no ongoing public threat, while the community and colleagues from Upper Dauphin schools mourn the longtime agriculture teacher.

3. Local college, PSP to award credit for academy completion (abc27.com) — York College of Pennsylvania is now granting degree credit for Pennsylvania State Police cadets who complete training at the PSP Academy in Hershey, giving troopers a faster, cheaper path to an undergraduate degree. The new agreement turns academy coursework into college credits, creating a more flexible route for law enforcement professionals to advance their education and careers.
