• Washington County man charged in July assault (heraldstandard.com) — A Hopwood woman, Angelina Lawver, is among three people charged in an alleged July tire-iron assault on a woman in nearby Uniontown, with all facing serious counts including aggravated assault. Lawver and another co-defendant are free on surety bonds after an August bail hearing, while the third suspect remains jailed ahead of an October 19 preliminary hearing.
