2 Administrators Join Hatboro-Horsham School District

The school district has made appointments to its business office. Its new assistant superintendent begins his tenure July 1.

HATBORO / HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —The Hatboro-Horsham School District continues to revamp its administrative and business offices in preparation for the upcoming school year.

The district recently hired two administrators for the business office.

Timothy Matthews will serve as the new director of accounting and reporting. The Horsham Township resident has nearly 30 years of experience working with the state Auditor General’s Office and also has worked as an assistant business administrator in the Upper Dublin and Wissahickon school districts.

He will earn $136,403 annually.

Hope Hague was appointed as the district's new director of financial services. The Hatboro resident has 20 years of experience in accounting roles at Holy Redeemer Hospital and Upper Moreland School District, where she served as budget and finance director and controller.

She will earn $131,403 annually.

Both were approved at the school board's June 5 meeting.

Meanwhile, Ryan Thomas was also named as the district’s federal programs coordinator, effective July 1. He replaces retiring Assistant Schools Superintendent Monica Taylor.

Last month, the school district named Ted Domers to replace Taylor, who served 22 years with the district.

Domers begins his tenure officially on Saturday. He served as assistant superintendent in the School District of Philadelphia.

The school district has also welcomed Michelle Davies as Crooked Billet Elementary School's librarian, and Laura Colussi as Simmons Elementary School's art teacher.

Crooked Billet and Hallowell Elementary School's former librarian, Lauraine Lindbloom, has retired after 33 years with the school district.
