Investigators say she falsely claimed she was awaiting a large settlement from Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and they are still looking into whether additional victims received checks that later bounced.

Hatboro man with 'foot fetish' draws prison for improper contact with teen girl (pottsmerc.com subscription) β A 77-year-old Hatboro man has been sentenced in Montgomery County Court to two to five years in state prison, plus lengthy probation and sex offender registration, after unlawful contact with a minor involving explicit messages and offers of money. Hatboro police, alerted by concerned residents, used text exchanges and a planned meeting at a local Wawa to build the case and prevent further harm.
