'Best Math Teacher Ever' From Hatboro-Horsham Admits Giving Teens Drugs, Alcohol

A former Hatboro-Horsham teacher once described as 'the best math teacher you'll ever have' admitted he gave teens drugs and alcohol.

A former Hatboro-Horsham teacher who one student described as "the best math teacher ever" has admitted to hosting teenagers at parties where drugs and alcohol were provided.

Jeffrey Paul Zeltt, 51, of Warrington pleaded guilty Tuesday in Bucks County Court to charges of child endangerment, corruption of minors, furnishing alcohol to minors, and related charges, the Intelligencer reports.

Zeltt, a former Hatboro-Horsham High School math teacher, was charged in July with several felonies, court records show. He was initially charged with indecent assault after he was accused of sexually assaulting a teen girl, court records show. However, those charges were dropped.

Zeltt, who was described by students as being "so nice and cool" reportedly resigned from his teaching position after his arrest.

The student feedback can be found on the popular Ratemyteachers.com website. Zeltt's profile on that site includes at least a dozen reviews from students.

"Mr zeltt teaches well (if u pay attention) and is the best math teacher you'll ever have. hes so laid back and nice!!," one student said.

"Mr. Zeltt makes math fun!," another said.

Zeltt will be sentenced at a later date.
