Borough Council Candidates Wanted In Hatboro
Hatboro officials are taking applications until Thursday to replace Council Vice President Dave Stockton, who is resigning next week.

HATBORO, PA —The borough is seeking candidates to fill a vacancy on the seven-member Borough Council.
But you better act fast: the deadline is this Thursday.
With Council Vice Chairman Dave Stockton officially announcing his resignation next Monday, the borough is seeking applicants to fill out his remaining term.

Stockton's departure is the first for the council since January 2023 when Nicole Shay replaced the late Aleta Ostrander on the seven-member board.
"This rewarding position is perfect for anyone who loves to be involved in the community and who wants to give back to Hatboro," borough officials said.

To qualify for the council position, applicants must be a resident of Hatboro Borough (i.e. pay taxes to the Borough of Hatboro).
Anyone interested in applying for the council post should submit a resume and a cover letter to Borough Manager Diane Hegele at dhegele@myhatboro.org or in person at Borough Hall on or before Thursday, March 21, at the close of business hours.
Stockton has served six years on the Borough Council.
