Dangerous Driving Conditions Close Hatboro-Horsham Schools Tuesday

HATBORO-HORSHAM, PA — Potentially dangerous weather conditions closed school for Hatboro-Horsham students on Tuesday, as freezing rain and snow coated local roads.

All school buildings and offices were closed Tuesday "due to potentially dangerous travel conditions, especially on back roads and side streets, and forecasted freezing rain." Essential employees, including maintenance and custodial personnel, were to receive direction from supervisors.

A winter weather advisory is still in effect until 1 p.m. Tuesday for eastern Montco, as additional snow accumulations of up to one inch and light ice accumulations are possible.
