Dr. Seuss Crafts, Cupcakes At Hatboro Library
The event on Saturday celebrates the birthday of the beloved children's author, who was born on March 2, 1904.
HATBORO, PA — Union Library Company of Hatboro is celebrating the birthday of beloved children's author Dr. Seuss with crafts and cupcakes on Saturday.
The children's event is set for 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the library, at 243 S. York Rd. in Hatboro. Children are invited to eat a cupcake and make a craft in honor of the writer of such books as "The Cat in the Hat," "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and "Horton Hears a Who."
Theodore Seuss Geisel was born on March 2, 1904 in Springfield, Massachusetts. He would go on to write and illustrate more than 60 books under the pen name Dr. Seuss.
