Doylestown is home to a number of museums dedicated to the arts, and this trip visits two of them, the James A. Michener Art Museum and Moravian Pottery & Tile Works. At the Michener, wander galleries featuring the haunting pictorial narrative of Si Lewen, 20th century figurative paintings, drawing and photography, and photographic collections of two American icons – Muhammad Ali and Elvis Presley. The Pottery Works is a "working history" museum, producing handmade tiles in a manner similar to that developed by the pottery's founder and builder, Henry Chapman Mercer.
