Lots of pre-Halloween fun to enjoy!

We have a really mixed bag this weekend. Saturday’s forecast actually includes the word “snow” while Sunday looks to be a picture-perfect October day. Whatever the weather, here are some options for you to enjoy your weekend.

Where/When: , Hatboro, Saturday at 9:30 a.m.

Why go: The annual Skeleton Skurry 5K  & 1 Mile Family Treat Trail Walk will bring together children, adults and families rain or shine. Throughout the morning, there will be raffles, refreshments, a moon bounce, a DJ and more.

Cost: To Skurry - adults (13 and above) $25 and children under 13, $12; drop-offs or mailed in registrations must be received by Friday at 6 p.m. at the Hatboro Y. The other stuff is free.

HORSHAM DOG PARK THIRD ANNIVERSARY WALK

Where/When: , 1013 Horsham Road, Saturday at 10 a.m.

Why go: Celebrate with fellow dog owners of three years off the leash!

Cost: $20

Where/When: Miller Meadow, Horsham and York roads, Hatboro, Saturday at noon

Why go: A great event for kids who aren’t into the scary part of Halloween – hay ride, costume contest and pumpkin painting will all be available.

Cost: Free!

Where/When: 1005 Cathedral Rd, Huntingdon Valley, starting at 10 a.m.

Why go: At the Autumn Workshop, you’ll be able to make festive candy apples and play dress-up – Victorian-era style.

Cost: $5 (members are free)

Where/When: , 135 S Main St, Doylestown, Saturday, 7 p.m.

Why go: Students will be performing the roles of the entire Rocky Horror cast AND will be playing the music as a band. Then there’s the annual Halloween party with food, fun and, of course rock!

Cost: FREE!
