Golf Outing Will Highlight Hatboro-Horsham High School’s Athletic Programs

HATBORO, PA – Need a good reason to work on your golf swing? On October 3, 2016, Hatboro-Horsham will host its 9th Annual Athletic Wall of Fame Golf Outing at Old York Road Country Club in Ambler, PA.

Launched in 2008, the Hatboro-Horsham Athletic Wall of Fame celebrates athletes, coaches, and teams who showed skill, leadership, and positively represented Hatboro-Horsham athletic programs during their time in the school district.

The committee inducts new members every other year. Last year, the inductees were alumni, young and old, who exceled in their sport and brought recognition to the Hatboro-Horsham district.

The outing will begin at 11:00am with a lunch, and players will take to the green at 12:30pm. The $130 entry fee covers green fees, cart, lunch, food and drinks on the course and dinner after players complete their rounds for the day. Hole sponsorships can also be purchased for $150, $250, or $500.

Golfers can sign up as a group of four, or an individual golfers and then placed into a group.

The money raised at the outing will benefit the athletic programs of Hatboro-Horsham and continue to support the future athletes who may become a part of the Wall of Fame.

The country club proves to offer a great space for participants, with rolling hills of green and rustic spaces both inside and outside to enjoy a meal and each other’s company.
