HATBORO, PA —The Hatboro Memorial Pool is closed Tuesday due to a fecal incident that took place the night before, borough officials said.

Borough officials posted on Facebook that the incident took place at 7:15 p.m. Monday.

Hatboro Public Works has been "working diligently" to resolve the issue. But borough officials said they found out Tuesday afternoon that the pool needs to remain closed through the evening to allow the chemicals to return to safe levels for bathers.
