Chef Louie Zweifach is hoping to fill fifty full- and part-time positions for servers, cooks, hosts, bussers, dishwashers and assistant managers looking for employment at his new Italian BYOB, which will feature classic Italian dishes and over-the-top desserts. The 120-seat restaurant will open for dinner initially, with private events to follow later this spring.
"We are looking for hard workers with a positive attitude who love the hustle and bustle of working in a restaurant," said Chef Louie. "We are excited by the prospect of opening this restaurant with a wonderful team of energetic people. We are determined to be a centerpiece of the neighborhood, and excellent service and delicious Italian cuisine are the fundamentals of our business model.
The old-school Italian restaurant will feature a number of Louie's specialty Italian dishes, including Meatballs; a Bone-in Veal Chop Parmigiana; and Chicken Marsala. The dessert menu will feature milkshakes, sundaes and a variety of cannoli options, including a massive version for the whole table.
No experience is necessary for hosts, servers, bussers or dishwashers. A minimum of three years experience in dining is required for managerial positions.
"The positive response we've received from the region’s foodies since we announced our opening has been incredible," said Louie. "We know this restaurant is going to be popular with locals and anyone looking for a delicious meal, and we're just as excited to meet our neighbors as we are eager to get the restaurant opened. This building holds so many memories for so many people in the region, and we’re thrilled to add to the memories and milestones created on this property over the years."
