Horsham Fire Company to Be Recognized for 100th Anniversary

Horsham Fire Company is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Township Council will recognize the occasion at a meeting Wednesday.

The Horsham Township Council will recognize the Horsham Fire Company for its 100th anniversary during a meeting Wednesday, Oct. 8. The meeting begins at 8 p.m.

Additional items on the agenda include:

  • Consider a Resolution distributing the foreign casualty tax money to the pension funds
  • Render a decision on the Squires Golf Club Liquor License transfer
  • Consider a proposal from the Montgomery County Planning Commission to create a master site plan for the Pennsylvania Business Campus and the Horsham Business Center
  • Introduce an Ordinance amending Chapter 145 of the Horsham Township Code to revise the regulations regarding prohibited conduct in public parks and recreation areas
  • Consider a Resolution establishing a time and place for a public hearing on amending Chapter 145 of the Horsham Township Code regulating prohibited conduct in public parks and recreation areas – November 12, 2014 at 7:45 P.M.
  • Introduce an Ordinance amending Chapter 185 of the Horsham Township Code for management of solid waste in accordance with the Municipal Waste Planning, Recycling and Waste Reduction Act
  • Consider a Resolution establishing a time and place for a public hearing on amending Chapter 185 of the Horsham Township Code for management of solid waste in accordance with the Municipal Waste Planning, Recycling and Waste Reduction Act – November 12, 2014 at 7:30 p.m.
