Horsham Township Council Election Results
Election results are in. Could the Democrats win even a single race?

Election results are in for Horsham.
For Township Council, Republicans took both of the open seats, as Republicans Gregory Nesbitt and Mark McCouch soundly defeated their Democratic challengers.
Republican Christopher Weinrich similarly won a clear victory for Horsham Constable, winning 60 percent of the vote.

Republicans swept the School Board, too, as new members Mark Opalisky, Joseph Wade, Bob Gockley, and Marge Lotter easily won election over Democrats.
But in the county-wide races, Democrats enjoyed the success which Republicans tasted in Horsham.

Kevin Steel took down Bruce Castor, 55 percent to 44 percent, in the much heralded race for Montgomery County District Attorney. The result means that the way could be clear for charges to be pressed against Bill Cosy.
Sean Kilkenny defeated Russell Bono in the race for Sheriff.
And Democrat Bruce Haines beat Sharon Valentine-Thomas for Register of Wills. Former Pottstown Mayor Valentine-Thomas drew headlines earlier in October when she said she would not sign marriage certificates for same sex couples.
