Keith Valley Middle School Construction On Schedule
The Hatboro-Horsham School Board received an update from the project's engineer. Class wings are expected to be completed before winter.

HATBORO / HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —The new Keith Valley Middle School continues to take shape.
At a recent Hatboro-Horsham School Board meeting, an engineering firm provided an update on the construction of the new $125 million middle school, which is slated for a Fall 2025 opening.
James Lynch, construction manager from D’Huy Engineering, said the initial phase of construction focused on laying the foundations for the new building on Meetinghouse Road to prepare the construction site.

The school building began to take shape in August, with all four classroom pods and the new administration wing erected, Lynch said.
He stressed the importance of stormwater management in the project and their goal to complete the work promptly to minimize school disruptions.

Lynch said that mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are also being installed.
The classroom wing roofs will be installed before winter to allow interior work to commence, he added.
Construction remains on schedule. It had been delayed over the summer but the contractor recovered.
After the new middle school opens, the former building will be demolished, and then new athletic fields will be constructed, Lynch said.
The new school will replace the aging Keith Valley Middle School and is planned to open for the 2025-2026 school year.
After years of studies, a new school was considered the best of several options when the school board voted on the project late last year.
Construction began on the new school earlier this year.
The school district hired Schradergroup Architects to design the building, and D’Huy Engineering to provide construction management services. Click here to learn more about the project.
