Lacrosse: Boys Warm Up for CB East with Another Victory

The Hatters defeated Spring-Ford 10-5.

The Hatboro-Horsham boys lacrosse team beat Pac-10 powerhouse Spring-Ford Thursday to secure the Hatters' sixth straight win. The Hatters were led offensively by Jimmy Murphy, Jimmy Durkin and Jake Durkin. Connor Kreston also contributed. Trevor and Pat Downing each tallied one goal each. Steve Palo dominated face-offs winning 11 of 17, and also contributed with a assist. Dom DeFazio anchored another solid effort by the Hatters' defense, along with Tyler Gehlhaus, Jake Cresta, Sean Black, and Ryan Higgins. Mark Poust was outstanding in net with eight saves. The Hatters are back in action Monday at 7 p.m. as they host SOL rival Central Bucks East.
