The Hatboro-Horsham High School girls lacrosse team will close out its opening week of regulation play 4-0. The Lady Hatters rolled past Central Bucks South with a commanding 20-4 win Thursday. The Hatters scoring was led by posting five goals and one assist. and also tallied six points for the Hatters with two goals and four assists each. Sophomore Rachel Rousa posted three goals, while Julie McKay, Katie McKay and Casey Swezey all scored a pair of goals. also posted a goal to push the Hatters to the 20-goal mark. The defense was on their A-game once again with Lauren Sarnese, Jane Henry and Maria Guerra all contributing with their share of forced turnovers and ground balls to maintain possession of the ball and control of the clock.
The Lady Hatters will head to Orlando on Sunday to compete at Walt Disney’s Wide World of Sports complex next week with a vigorous training schedule and two non-conference games against top talent from New York and Virginia. The Lady Hatters return home on April 6.
