Longtime Horsham Resident, U. Of Illinois Graduate, Dies At 84

Betty Louise Sims of Horsham Betty Louise Sims, of Horsham, PA, died February 12, 2016 at the age of 84.

She was born in Western Springs, IL June 22, 1931 daughter of Victor C Mills and Bertha A (Nee Partridge).

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers Jay, Richard and Ronald. She attended the University of IL where she met and later married Homer J. Sims.

They moved to Philadelphia in 1952 and then to Horsham. Betty is survived by her husband and their three children David (Kimberly), Eric (JoAnn) and Pamela Ryder (Bernard). Also surviving are six grandchildren; Jason and Nathan Sims, Shannon DeBellis; James, Matthew, and Melissa Ryder, one great granddaughter Evelyn.

Betty was a member of Supplee Memorial Presbyterian Church of Maple Glen, PA. She was also active with the Oreland Quilters Group.
