The Route 611 fast-food chain was closed for over a year due to an electrical fire.
HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — The Golden Arches are once again beaming for customers in the township and area.
After being closed for over a year due to a fire, the McDonald's restaurant on Route 611 has recently reopened, once again giving customers their coffee, Big Macs, French fries, and Happy Meals.

Officials said McDonald's submitted plans to the township to expand the length of the drive-thru lane to add another window to make the drive-thru more efficient.
Officials said McDonald's won't be adding a second drive-thru lane. They will be adding pedestrian lamps and landscaping along Easton Road.
Township officials had said in August that McDonald's hoped to reopen by the end of the year, or sometime early in 2026.
