New Keith Valley Middle School Taking Shape
The Hatboro-Horsham School Board received an update from the project's engineer at its January meeting.

HATBORO / HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —The new Keith Valley Middle School's building frame has been installed with some sections now fully enclosed.
The Hatboro-Horsham School Board received that good news during a project update on the construction of the new $125 million middle school at the board's Jan. 22 meeting.
James Lynch, the construction manager from D’Huy Engineering, told the school board that site stabilization has been successful, including paving, landscaping, and stormwater basin installation.

Ongoing coordination efforts involve planning of IT systems, community input and response, educational opportunities, and more.
Lynch said the project remains on schedule for the Fall 2025 school year, with savings from value engineering contributing to an increased project contingency.
The school building began to take shape in August, with all four classroom pods and the new administration wing erected.
Construction had been delayed over the summer but the contractor recovered.
The new school will replace the aging Keith Valley Middle School and is planned to open for the 2025-2026 school year.
After years of studies, a new school was considered the best of several options when the school board voted on the project late last year.
The school district hired Schradergroup Architects to design the building, and D’Huy Engineering to provide construction management services. Click here to learn more about the project.
