• Jury Call Scam Alert Issued In Hatboro (patch.com) — Hatboro residents are being warned about scam phone calls from someone falsely claiming to be "Sgt. Gilbert" of the Hatboro Borough Police, saying people missed jury duty and must pay to avoid arrest. Police stress they have no such officer, never demand payment by phone, and urge anyone receiving these calls to hang up and report the incident directly to Hatboro Borough Police.

• CASE: Police Seek to Identify Suspect in Wawa Beer Theft (crimewatch.net) — Hatboro Police are asking residents to help identify a man who allegedly stole a case of beer from a local Wawa around 2:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 14, before leaving in a silver sedan headed toward South York Road. If you recognize the suspect or have any information, police urge you to call 215-675-2832 to support this ongoing investigation.
