Police Wrangle Wayward Sheep In Horsham: Cops

A sheep caused a disturbance in Horsham Township Friday morning as it wandered through residential streets.

HORSHAM, PA — Police officers in Montgomery County have had some unusual encounters lately, and Friday morning was no different.

Horsham police responded to reports of a sheep wandering through the neighborhood near Babylon Road and the Powerline Trail, according to Horsham Police Community Services.

After a brief chase, officers were able to capture the sheep and return him to his human family, police said.

This comes just a week after officers in Springfield Township rescued a pregnant mini-horse from traffic in Springfield Township. The horse, which was about to give birth, had escaped from nearby Erdenheim Farms and was running around Bethlehem Pike before being safely corralled by officers.
